“I believe that learning an instrument is one of the most valuable experiences anyone can have. We can learn so many things about ourselves during the process and it is so much fun! Besides teaching technique and musicianship, I will help the student learn to care for their other very important instruments— their mind and body.  We will spend time in lessons practicing mindfulness and stretching to prepare for playing. I want to make sure students start with good playing habits to prevent future injuries so that they can enjoy playing their instrument for a very long time! Students will also learn music theory and how to practice their instrument at home effectively. I highly encourage curiosity and creativity and love to give students opportunities to let those traits flourish. I look forward to meeting you and making beautiful music together!”
