Is there a minimum rental period?
No. Our rentals are month to month and may be returned at any time.
Do you have a rent to own option?
Yes. All of our rentals are rent with the option to buy. We track your payments from the beginning and notify you when you have paid off the instrument.
How does your maintenance program work?
All of our rental instruments come with an optional repair/maintenance program for all instruments excluding: percussion instruments and keyboards. The cost of this maintenance plan is in addition to the monthly rental fee and will provide all maintenance repairs to keep the instrument in good playing condition due to normal use. In cases of damage, negligence, abuse or misuse the costs of additional repairs will be covered 50% by the Boomer Maintenance agreement and 50% by being charged to the renter. Repeated intentional damage, abuse or misuse may result in the full repair cost for the instrument. This plan does not cover damage deemed beyond repair or a total loss of the instrument. Consumables such as reeds, woodwind mouthpieces, valve oil, or strings are not included in the maintenance plan. This plan is only available for instruments rented through Boomer Music and ceases to cover the instrument once it has been returned. All claims and warranties are voided by repair work not done by Boomer Music.
Do you rent guitars?
Do you rent keyboards?
Yes, but only on a short term basis. They are not available for rent-to-own.
Do you tune pianos?
No, however, we have a list of piano tuners we can give to you.
How much will my repair cost?
We need to see the instrument to give an estimate. Estimates are always free and instruments may be dropped off any time during normal business hours. We strive to give you an estimate within one full business day.
How long will my repair take?
Time varies based on the severity of the repair. Average turn around time is within a week with preference given to those paying for our maintenance program.
What instruments do you repair?
We repair any band or orchestra instrument (student to professional model). We do not repair acoustic or electronic pianos, accordians, concertinas, autoharps, harps, bagpipes, or organs.
Do you sell sheet music?
Yes. We have one of the largest selections of piano and instrumental music in Northern Colorado. We can also order most any music in print and have the capability to download sheet music.
Do you buy back or sell instruments on consignment?
Where can I donate my old instrument?
We gladly accept donations to the Serimus Program. Serimus provides instruments to students in the Poudre School District who cannot afford to rent. Periodically we are also the drop off point for used instrument drives.
