Education & Experience
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I offer fun, high-quality music lessons designed to inspire students and get them playing quickly. I began studying music at age six and have performed across orchestras, jazz bands, rock groups, and worship teams. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in 2013 and have managed multiple music stores and teaching academies for more than a decade.
Learn to Play by Ear & Improvise: My teaching style blends core music theory with real-world improvisational skills. I teach you how music works under the hood so you can turn on the radio and immediately play along, or walk up to any singer, group, or jam session and know how to improvise on the spot.
I focus on encouragement, working at each student’s unique pace, and customizing lessons around music you actually love. Most students are ready to jam in a live band setting in as little as two months. Students also have the opportunity to write their own original music.
Located at Boomer Music Company in Fort Collins, Colorado, my mission is simple: to make music fun, rewarding, and empowering from your very first lesson.
