Education & Experience

Growing up, my life was encompassed by music – taking private lessons and playing in band and ensembles. In college, I was active in piano training and performance and was also principal flute for the Colorado Mesa University Wind Symphony.

I am classically trained in both the piano and flute with 10+ years of teaching experience from ages 4 up through adult. My focus is on developing fully-rounded musicians, and my approach to teaching reflects this. My students will learn all aspects of musicianship, to include: sight reading, theory, composition, ear training, and performance techniques.
